Dubai is not worth all this consternation. It possibly one of the best allies we have in that troubled part of the world, and the negative reactions currently in the press are based on superficial understandings of the issues.
If we need something to worry about, why not turn our attention to the various ships of dubious origin under Panamanian, and Liberian registry. It’s not the guys doing the books at the ports, or holding board meetings, but the vessels and cargo we should be worrying about.
