Unfortunate headline typo of the day
From the Breaking News blog at the Oregonian's website:
Multnomah County seeks spike in heroin OD deathsI suspect they meant "sees" instead of "seeks," as I doubt the county has an interest in promoting heroin overdose deaths. But inevitably the O will realize its mistake, so here's a screen capture:

For any blogger who has ever ranted in haste, this is rewarding. If a reputable news organization can let this type of silly get by, they can hardly ridicule those of us who engage in political debate in our electronic pamphlet form and make occasional--even constant--mistakes in usage or form.
Does the Oregonian have a corrections page? It would be interesting to see how the correction is posted.
