Tony Snow

A great move by the President. A terrible loss for Portland radio listeners. Now we have yet another hour for the Mouth of the Northwest (aka Lars) to pontificate, and then another hour for Michael Savage. Which means two more hours when I won't be listening to KXL.

Michael Savage is the best thing going for KXL. Snow was ok, but he was to much of a talking head for Bush.
What they need to do is get rid of OReilly

I wouldn't cry if O'Reilly was gone, but Michael Savage does nothing positive to promote a conservative majority -- he feeds off (and into) the conservative fever swamps.

funny you should put Lars and Savage in the same statement. Lars wants to BE Savage. Lars started going shrill a few years back, when he was auditioning to be a semi-regular guest-host for Savage when Savage wasn't on. It was this role that landed Lars his national show, which now competes with Savage. How interesting...

Oh, and Lars is now stooping to spamming blog comments:

Lars may make more money as a shock jock with a rabid base, but that base is a very VERY small segment of the voting population. He is spiraling into a very small circle of influence, where he is the center, but the reach is insignificant. Oh well, if you like the sound of your own voice more than the ability to actually DO anything with it...
